We call this the “Redneck” skirting tool. The concept is to open up the gap the lure fits in through the skirt and expand it out for an easier insertion point for the lure head. This especially helps on lures that are not polished at the skirt saddles that don’t slide as easily.
We posted a video on our Instagram/Facebook stories while attending the Wharf Boat Show in Orange Beach, Alabama, and we have been getting a lot of inquiries and questions on these tools. Because of all of that, we are now offering these for sale. This is the most helpful tell with rubber skirts that we have come across, and we honestly think this will be a game changer for many of you.
