**This lure is brand new handmade in Joe Yee’s shop and came directly from him. All of our Joe Yees are 100% authentic, and most can be shown with a photo of Joe Yee himself. We get all of our new inventory directly from Joe Yee and not from other individuals – All inventory that did not come from Joe Yee himself will be otherwise noted with “Pre-Owned” in each lure Title.**

The “501” got its name after a 501 lb Blue Marlin that was caught on the first of its shape that Joe made by one of his customers back in the day. The 501 is 2-7/8″ in length from the tip of the nose to the end of the end of the lure face (above the saddles). It’s a double tapered plunger that has a bit more diameter than the Medium Plunger. This is one of Joe’s most well known lures. Comes in a 9″ size as well (Baby 501), but this is his standard size.
